Here is a wonderful antique French toile de Jouy from circa 1815. The images depict events in the life of Joan of Arc. This piece was clearly once a part of a quilt as there are tiny stitch lines. There are also a couple of places that are worn thin and two small holes. I think they should be visible in the photos. If not, message me and I’ll take some more. This piece measures 22.5” wide and 24” long. This piece would be wonderful for fabric study, for appraisers or for the collector. It is a wonderful piece of history!
