Here we have a wonderful English Toile circa 1840. There are stitching remnants along 2 sides and the lower edge is slightly curved so I’m thinking this was likely part of a bed hanging. It is 14” wide and 26” long. The upper edge is uneven because of a tear. I did not trim it in order to keep the design. Separate from the upper edge the condition is excellent. There is no fading, no holes or mends.
