18th C. Toile Diane et Endymion

This is a section of an 18th Century toile valance.  It measures 49 inches long and 17 inches deep.  This toile was manufactured by J. P. Meiller, Beautiran France in 1792 and is titled "Diane et Endymion". . It is a linen toile backed with a solid ecru linen and lightly quilted.   The lower edge is scalloped.  There is one small yellow/brown circular stain.  There are no holes.  The color is still nice and vibrant.
