Striking, well-planned.  This is an incredible zigzag log cabin quilt.  The gray fabric has a small square print that tricks the eye into thinking the whole quilt is made from very small pieces.  This quilt measures 70" x 85".  It is backed with a wonderful brown small print floral stripe and is bound with the same fabric as the backing.  This quilt dates to the last quarter of the 19th Century but would look fabulous in even the most contemporary homes today.  The only issue I have found is a small spot on the back which I have photographed.
