This unique quilt was found in New York state. It dates to circa 1840 and has alternating star blocks with a beautiful grapevine and fruit basket print. Two of the opposing corners feature a red on white start. The striking edge features a variety of flora with bell flowers. Quilt measures 87”x97” overall, the blue border is approximately 11” on all sides. Hand-quilted in a chevron pattern along the border and cross hatch through the main body of the quilt.
