Here is a wonderful Laurel Leaf quilt with a fabulous border.  The applique and quilting are exquisite with the quilting at 9 spi.  There is some popping in the blue although not in all of it.  It clearly is an issue of deterioration due to something in the die and not from how the quilt has been cared for.  This quilt dates to 1830-40 and was found in Maryland.  Measures 94" x 94".  Back is an off white cotton.
