Candlewicking Set - SOLD

Here we have a very unusual example of candlewicking - a bedcover and three scallopped valances with original tassles. It is all hand done. The bedcover has a vase with flowers surrounded by a wandering grapevine. The bedcover measures 63" x 70". Two of the
valances are 72" long. The third is 54" long. They are all 23" deep. The overall condition is very good as this example is probably close to 200 years old. There are a few small brown
spots. We have tried to show them in the photographs. Two of the valances are also missing tassles. We also have one photgraph of the back so that the workmanship can be seen.
